The bad news today is that the total number of COVID19 cases is starting to rise again.  There was hope that after the shutdown, the there would be a total decrease in the amount of reported cases.  Because of this, this has only fortified the armor of the Cyberattacker.

Although during the last few months the world has seen many kinds of threat variants, such as the Work From Home (WFH) issues, Zoombombing, Phishing Emails, heisted and malicious domains, etc.

But keep in mind that there is one specific attack vector that still lingers out there: Ransomware.  This kind of Cyberattack made a huge splash in the news headlines late last year, but because of COVID19, it has sort of taken a back seat.  But keep in mind that it is still a prevalent threat.

In this podcast, we have the honor and privilege of interviewing Hoyt L Kesterson II. He is a Senior Security & Risk Architect for Avertium, a privately-held company headquartered in Phoenix, AZ.  Further understand the risks that Ransomware brings, by understanding first its anatomy.
