Let’s face it . . . these are for sure challenging times that nobody ever expected. Many lessons have learned, especially from the standpoint of Cybersecurity, and the hope is that now Corporate America will be able to learn from it and put things into action.
Some of these include deploying and implementing a robust set of Incident Response/Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Plans, and keep rehearsing them at regular intervals. Even more important is to keep them updated.
Another area that has received a lot of notice is that of the IT Security team. We have now seen how indispensable they truly are, and how much we need them more than ever before as the Remote Workforce will now more or less become a permanent fixture here in the United States.
There is no doubt that they are overburdened and overtaxed on a daily basis, but they are the one department of any company that literally has to stand on their toes ready to fight fires on a moment’s notice, no matter how exhausted they may be.
How can this be done? Well, a lot of comes to motivating your IT Security team to reach even higher levels than they have before. There are many ways to do this, as different approaches need to be utilized in order to keep the training fun, motivating, and challenging.
In today’s podcast, we have the honor and privilege of interviewing of Matt Katzer, the CEO and Founder of KAMIND IT, one of the top Cybersecurity firms located in the West Coast.
